Sharla Wells-DiGregorio, PhD, assistant professor of Psychiatry and a member of the OSUCCC’s Cancer Control Program, will present “Supportive Care Assessment: Patient Preferences for Disclosure of Palliative Care Information”
and “Worry as a Significant Predictor of Insomnia Among Palliative Care Patients with Advanced Cancer” as paper sessions at the Annual Assembly of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) to be held from March 3-6, 2010, in Boston. Wells was first author on both papers. Co-authors include Jillian Gustin, MD, Kristen Coller, MD, Don Marks, PsyD, Ulysses Magalang, MD, and Robert Taylor, MD, medical director and fellowship director of the Center for Palliative Care at Ohio State.
